Key Features of the Fishing Net Shredder

Anti-Entanglement Rotor

The heart of this machine. The special V-shaped rotor and the unique positioning of the blades prevent long, fibrous materials such as nets and ropes from wrapping around the shaft, minimizing downtime.

High-Torque Drive

The powerful, slow-running drive delivers a constant high torque, allowing the shredder to effortlessly cut through dense bundles of nylon, PP/PE nets, and thick ropes.

Intelligent PLC Control

The PLC system detects overloading and automatically activates a reverse function to reposition the material. This protects the machine and ensures smooth, uninterrupted operation.

Robust Construction

Built for the toughest conditions. The robust frame and high-quality components ensure a long service life and minimal wear, even when processing abrasive materials such as sand-contaminated nets.

Energy Efficiency

Advanced drive technology not only provides high torque but also optimizes energy consumption, resulting in lower operating costs.

Safety & Maintenance

Designed with the user in mind. Easy access to the cutting chamber and replaceable blades make maintenance quick and safe. Equipped with emergency stops and safety sensors in compliance with CE regulations.

The Process: From Net to Raw Material

Our shredder is the heart of an efficient recycling process. Reducing fishing nets and ropes to a suitable size for further processing is the crucial first step.

1. Feed

Large, compacted bales of fishing nets or loose ropes are loaded into the spacious feed hopper of the shredder via a conveyor belt or gripper.

2. Reduction

The hydraulic ram presses the material against the slowly rotating, high-torque rotor. The specially designed blades grip the material and cut it effectively, without tangling.

3. Output

The material is reduced to the desired particle size, determined by the replaceable sieve deck. The output is a uniform, loose material, perfect for the next step in the recycling process (washing, granulating).

Wide Application Opportunities

This shredder is the first step in the circular economy for marine and agricultural waste, and prepares materials for granulation and reuse.

Recycling of Fishing Nets

Reduces various types of fishing nets (trawl nets, gillnets, etc.) made from materials such as nylon, HDPE, and PP to a manageable size for further processing.

Processing of Rope and Ropes

Slices effortlessly through thick, multi-strand ropes and ropes used in shipping, fishing, and offshore industries.

Agricultural Waste

Ideal for processing agricultural nets, shade cloths, baling presses, and other fibrous agricultural plastic waste.

Textile and Carpet Recycling

Processes large rolls of textile, carpet remnants, and other fibrous materials that conventional shredders can clog.

Why Our Anti-Entanglement Shredder?

Standard shredders fail when processing fishing nets due to entanglement, leading to costly downtime and maintenance. Our machine is designed from the ground up with a specialized anti-entanglement rotor that eliminates this problem. By investing in this technology, you choose a reliable, efficient, and continuous solution specifically built to convert one of the world's most problematic waste streams into a valuable raw material.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What makes the anti-tangling rotor so effective?
The combination of a V-shaped rotor design, the specific angle and arrangement of the blades, and the proximity of the counter knives ensures that the material is cut rather than pulled. This prevents long fibers from wrapping around the shaft.
Can the machine handle sand, shells, and other debris in the nets?
Yes, the machine is robustly constructed. The blades are made of hardened D2 steel for high wear resistance. However, for the longest blade life, we recommend pre-cleaning the nets where possible.
What is the final size of the shredded material?
The output size is determined by the mesh size of the sieve deck under the rotor chamber. We offer seven sizes (generally 40 mm – 100 mm) to meet your specific requirements for the next step.
